This isn't your grandmother's super soaker, no joke. The super soakers of the modern era have little to no resemblance of the toys children use to harmlessly attack each other with during the time of the year known as summer. The super soaker of the now is a riot control weapon, and has been since the days leading up to the apocalypse. Back when the local government's key focus was to keep its citizens at peace, the high powered super soaker gave the riot police a powerful, albeit non-leathal weapon to use against angry protestors. Oddly enough, the super soaker ended up fueling the people's fire, instead of putting it out. Milwaukee's resources were dwindling, and when the price of water rose dramatically the protestor's anger increased tenfold when they saw the pricey commodity being wasted on a 'just cause'. |
